Edale is the name given to the valley between Mam Tor, Losehill and Kinder Plateau and is also the name of the village which forms the main settlement in the Derbyshire Peak District.
The village lies in a beautiful setting, below Kinder Scout, and it is a very popular centre for walkers and hikers, as it is the start of the Pennine Way, England’s famous long-distance footway.
